Do you have photos showing our local area as it looked years ago? Have you held onto pictures of local leaders and dignitaries from yesteryear?
If your answer to any of those questions is yes, then we have a terrific opportunity for you.
The Inter-Mountain is accepting submitted photographs to be considered for inclusion in an upcoming Randolph County photo book.
The book will be hardbound, and devoted to the natural beauty, and history, of Randolph County. This special publication will be printed and released later this year.
And you have a chance to be part of it! The Inter-Mountain is inviting all local photographers to submit their work.
We are looking for nature photography; fun family-oriented feature photography; photos of local historic sites: and old photographs of the way our area once looked, and of people who helped make the county great.
We will strive to include the work of as many local photographers as possible in the book, to offer the best representation of Randolph County as a whole.
All photographers and submitters whose work is used in the book will receive credit, with their names printed beneath their photos. There will be no monetary compensation for submitted photos being used.

Physical copies of photos can be submitted at The Inter-Mountain offices, located at 520 Railroad Avenue in Elkins.
The deadline for submissions is Friday, June 14.
All physical copies of submitted photos, whether used in the book or not, will be available to be picked up at The Inter-Mountain offices once the book has been sent to the press.
Please include basic information with your submissions, such as where the photo was taken, who is shown in the photo, etc.
If you are submitting an older photo, please also tell us what year it was taken.
The Inter-Mountain knows there are many talented photographers in our area, and many local history buffs, as well. We want to work with you all to create a great publication featuring the best Randolph County has to offer.
