Reader: Something new in the election cycle
Have any of you readers noticed something happening in the political fray of this election cycle? It’s something we haven’t seen before and, quite frankly, may not see it happen again for a long time.
I’m talking about the exodus of many prominent and well known black politicians and business leaders who are fleeing from the Democrats and their outrageous, bizarre policies. They were paying attention to what went on in the Obama camp, with his arrogant attitude and failed policies that precipitated the decline in leadership from the White House, leadership that should have helped keep the confidence and trust of the very poor, especially minorities who need jobs, housing and a reason to work for a better nation for all of us. He wasn’t interested in helping any of them; he was too busy spending money and running the National Debt up to $20 trillion.
President Trump has successfully begun some programs to help minorities make a decent living while hitting roadblocks like COVID-19 and the disastrous cooperation of Pelosi and Schumer. They cry and wail that Trump isn’t serious because he won’t agree to spend a zillion dollars for freebies and massive giveaways. If the money was limitless that’s a good thing, but we all know it’s not.
