United Way kickoff auction a success

Thanks to the Randolph County community, the United Way of Randolph County has added $18,755 towards their $100,000 campaign goal with their annual campaign kickoff auction.

We would like to extend a very special thank you to Roys RV, which has continued to be our lead sponsor for the campaign kickoff auction for many years. We would also like to thank each and every individual business sponsor for our successful event.

The following local businesses were also sponsors that we greatly appreciate: Colonial Motors, Woodford Oil Company, Citizens Bank of West Virginia, Davis Trust Company, Huntington Bank and an anonymous United Way Board member. Your generosity and support is greatly appreciated!

Our success from the auction would not have been possible without the support from the members of our community and local businesses that continue to support the United Way annually by making a contribution to the auction. It has been a difficult year for all due to COVID; however, the community really pulled together to ensure the success of the annual auction.

United Way is the community’s largest philanthropic partner and works to address the toughest challenges in Randolph County through our 16 partner agencies. Unfortunately, we remain shy of our $100,000 goal to fund these community partners that help your friends, neighbors and families in need.

If you would like to join us in making a gift to this year’s campaign, please contribute by mailing a check to: United Way of Randolph County, 10 Eleventh Street Suite D Elkins, WV 26241. Together, we can make a difference in the communities in which we live and work.

To all of our generous contributors, sponsors and volunteers who have supported us during this campaign — thank you for choosing to Live United!
