Perhaps a couple of you readers will remember the letter I sent in to the Inter-Mountain that was published July 31. I predicted that by the end of August we'd be showing shot cards and wearing masks everywhere and possibly stores would all be caught up in a mandate, posting guards and having the privilege of calling 911 and having you forcibly removed by the local law enforcement officers. All will be sanctioned by the feds, bypassing statehouses and any restrictions. Well, probably not in August. More in a minute.
This delta virus eruption sneaked up on Uncle Joe much like the Taliban did. It shouldn't have. Both things happened because of the incompetent intelligence he had and put too much faith in.
I knew we were in trouble when they declared in May that COVID was contained and you could ditch the mask. Delta variant, they said, was not as deadly and would be easily controlled by stepped-up vaccinations. By this time, vaccine was becoming a four letter word, so to speak. It still is.
Millions of dollars in cash and prizes for the bulk of the next couple months wouldn't bring the masses to the vaccine drives. Officials scratched their heads in disbelief. Lines should have been a mile long to get vaccinated. Didn't happen. Trouble was brewing and by July we were sliding backwards at a good clip and the Oval Office, CDC and FDA had no clue how we got there.
Here's what's happening and will happen. Not in August necessarily but before year's end. Biden has already clamped down on many places that get federal funds or use federal services. Get that vaccine and wear that mask or else you're out. No word if we will need a fourth or fifth or sixth shot. Trust me, we will.
It was revealed just recently that he has directed his cohorts to find some way to force governors like DeSantis and Abbot to do things his way and conform to federal mandates for all things COVID. Conspiracy theorists are having a field day with this one and I totally understand; if Biden can pull this off there will be something bigger down the road. The goal is government control; this is merely one small advancement to government dominance.
