I've been told, and have even read, that there is a very good chance that many of the newspapers we read daily all over America find their way to a designated place in or near Washington, D.C. where they are scrutinized and gleaned (mostly by electronic scanners) for key phrases and words that can put people or organizations on a watch list just in case there's trouble down the road.
Facebook, Twitter and many others use this tactic on their members' accounts to censor them and further their own selfish political goals under the guise of controlling propaganda and dissent. Conspiracy theorists are not far off on this one, folks.
It would do no good to write the President directly if you disagreed with his tactics. Even if he were allowed to read your message he would no doubt mumble something. There is a chance though that these "analysts" will combine and condense reports and let him see what we are thinking in the countryside. I hope so because I have a message I want him to see.
"Sir, you and your election committee are all miracle workers. There is no way you could have campaigned your way into the White House. You lived in your basement and skyped all day long, reading speeches from your handlers. You know who I mean, sir. They are the ones really running the country now.
"When you did appear in public there were more Secret Service attendants than audience members. Some people said the audience was also Secret Service members. Pitiful.
"In spite of it all, there you are in the West Wing, the greatest political miracle in my memory.
"The rest of this letter is about how you and your ilk are handling Ukraine and Putin. You, sir, along with PM's Trudeau and Johnson, are cowards. Putin has your knees knocking while he's committing genocide on people who never intended him any harm.
"You fear a war with him so you let him keep destroying millions of homes and businesses and you don't think U.N. intervention is a good idea.
"There were about 18 nations who fought in the Korean War. Were they wrong?
"Now the U.N. ambassadors sit on their backsides and vote to condemn Putin but let him continue on, killing those precious little kids and babies. Creeps all! I don't know how you can cram that much incompetence into one office. Just give them the planes. Give them the planes."
