In making her decision, she enjoyed freedom of religion and autonomy over her own body. Cal and his daughter are entitled to the freedom of speech to persuade whomever to reject the choice for an abortion.
Was there a law when she got pregnant that forced her to have an abortion? No. If there was, what would she have done? This is the choice faced by girls and women today in the states that pass anti-abortion laws, laws that prohibit birth control products for women and prophylactics for men.
