Reader responds to syndicated column
Froma Harrop, a syndicated Columnist, wrote an article printed in the Dec. 6 issue of The Inter-Mountain called “Facing Consequences.” I am grateful for the opportunity to respond to her comments. There are very significant negative consequences to vaccines that she did not mention.
I am Chanda Adkins, a clinical pharmacist. I am from Mill Creek and went to Tygarts Valley High School. I currently reside in Beckley. I graduated from WVU School of Pharmacy in 2005.
I completed a clinical practice residency at Charleston Area Medical Center in 2008. I served in our Legislature in 2018.
I was severely injured by a vaccine that I was required to take in pharmacy school. I do not want others to learn the hard way what I have learned. I have spent the second half of my pharmacist career advocating for medical freedom for ALL West Virginians. I founded and am the President of West Virginians for Health Freedom (WVHF) (www.wvforhealthfreedom.com).
WVHF is a non-profit organization focused on educating West Virginians about what medical freedom is and why it is just as important as the right to free speech or the right to defend yourself. WVHF wants our West Virginia children to be able to attend school regardless of which vaccines they have received.
The over 2,000 members of WVHF did what was recommended by their pediatricians and providers. We underwent vaccination only to suffer a severe adverse event that resulted in lifelong illness. Now we tell our stories in hopes of helping others. The proper term to call us is ex-vaxxer, not anti-vaxxer.
Please join me and other West Virginia families on Jan. 30 at the West Virginia State Capitol for the annual West Virginia Health Freedom Day. It will open with guest speakers presenting a national perspective on the same issues we are facing in West Virginia–mandatory vaccination to attend school that overrides our rights to bodily integrity and free exercise of our religion.
Also, the Children’s Health Defense bus will be at the Capitol and hosting story sessions on their bus. They have been traveling the U.S. and collecting stories from the public about their experiences with vaccine injury and medical tyranny.

God Bless!
