International law requires asylum seekers to seek refuge in the next adjacent country.
If you travel through several countries to get to a place you prefer, you are simply moving and are no longer protected by asylum laws and should not be allowed into our country without filing the proper immigration paperwork and waiting to be accepted in.
Can someone please explain why we are accepting people from China, El Salvador, India,Russia and various African countries into our country while they await an asylum hearing that could take up to three years or more do to the immense backlog of cases?
They are immigrants, not asylum seekers, and never should have been turned loose on our streets just to provide Democratic votes in the next election.
We had a huge homeless problem before this influx of illegals, and now food and expense cards are being issued to non-Americans that should have been used to help our own people. It's taxpayer money, and I was not asked if it was OK to give it away to people who have no business in my country.
We have to fix our own problems first, then if there is money left in the budget by all means help out the less fortunate illegals, but the last I heard our government had already spent all of its budget and was begging Congress to print more money just to meet their payroll.
