Reader: Built-up stress needs to be released

4 min read

In 1976, a movie came out by the name of "Network." A movie about a broadcaster that learns that he may be let go from the TV station where he works. On one evening broadcast he expressed his frustrations. The last line of his rant was; "I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore!"

Do I hear a second on that emotion? Sixty million dollars to supply the Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan.  The vast majority goes towards military use. We are sending this over while our own military is depleting. Don't go to the president or general to verify. Just ask any soldier, sailor or airman.

Do I want to see freedom survive in these countries? Yes. But at whose expense? Ours? They would get money and supplies, but not that much.

The Europeans need to realize that they need to chip in... a lot. After all, it is in their own backyard. I believe we were the country that did the most to bail them out of two World Wars. They are not the only one that needs money (look in the mirror).

As for the immigrants that are invading our country, they are not just from Mexico, Central and South America, but the world. I use the word "invading" as they have not come in accordance with the law. And they are not coming politely. Picky about the food, where they stay. Free debt cards on the tax payer's back. Worse yet, some are committing crimes and getting out the next day. And how many kids unattended, no parents. Worse yet, found in the desert. Picture your little one left all alone.

Folks, even a rowboat can hold only so many people. And with an engine on that boat, how many nautical miles do you think that boat will get?  It will be stranded in the middle with no land in site. And how safe will that boat be ?

By the way, did I mention that this is on your tax dollars? Our population is about to exceed our money. You want into our country?  Do it the right way. And don't forget to remind the president of this.

Wanting us to buy electric cars at prices no one can afford. Imagine your electric bill at the end of the month. Plugging it in every night may add to your bill. Another thought, brown outs. That's when your A/C kicks off in the summer. Get used to it.

I'm going to make this short. You can't mow the lawn, cook green beans or cool down the house. Pollutes the air. Tax dollars spent everywhere but home. And who's the biggest economic class? The Middle Class.

A case of a deaf government, some more then others... as to what America needs or wants. A baby sitter that you would want to watch your kids. We are in debt to China… our enemy. And what money we can't get, we print. I'd start buying silver and gold if I were you. A lemonade stand might be cheaper.

We, as the tax payers, could not get away with this kind of debt. If we did, the country would stop. Opening the door to our enemies. And as for the law, forget your party affiliation, nothing will change, there will always be two sets of laws.  This was written tongue and cheek. It was either that or cry.

Now... repeat after me: "We are as mad as hell, and we're not going to take it anymore." There you go. It didn't change anything, but don't you feel better?
