Recently, the Mountaineer Chapter of Izaak Walton League of America held their first Conservation Banquet at the Beverly Fire Hall.
The evening was a remarkable success with over 200 people attending. The chapter would like to recognize the many sponsors, individuals and groups that made this possible.
The dinner for the evening was delicious and well prepared by the BVFD Ladies Auxiliary. Many thanks to Joyce Harper who spent many hours preparing the meal, along with the help of other members Tina Marstiller, Rhonda Pritt, Melody Jones, Christin Jones and Carolyn Stalnaker. Also, thanks to all the firemen who took the time out of their busy scheduled and made their famous Chicken Burn for us.
If you are looking for an organization to prepare your food for an event, we highly recommend the BVFD Ladies Auxiliary, ask for Joyce. Davis Medical Center donated the appetizers for the evening.
