I do not have a good feeling about this upcoming election. I was so comfortable about the 2020 election, like half of America, and Joe Biden pulled off a huge blind-side which will probably not be matched for the rest of the 21st century; quite possibly centuries to come.
Had I been a gambler I would have bet the farm on his losing to Donald Trump. Hiding in the basement, panning the cameras at some other event not related to politics to fake large crowds, telling whoppers as if he wrote the book on lying, not unlike Trump, and offering the country to millions of illegals and giving away stuff he didn't own was mostly what got him elected.
He was never seriously challenged, to my knowledge, on those unauthorized promises, and that was a big mistake for the Republicans.
If you've noticed anything at all it should be how Kamala is reversing at least a dozen socialist positions she nurtured in 2019-20 and usurping many of Trump's long-held ideas like no tax on tips and Social Security and closing the border. She has no intention of closing that border.
I can't stand to look at her propaganda events more than a few minutes but when I do tune in, I see Kamala turning on the charm and attracting the younger half of voters because they are easier to persuade that things are going to get better when she gets in office.
She keeps saying "on day one." She says that so much that she won't be able to get to half of her socialist programs in "year one."
Donald Trump has said and done a lot of things he shouldn't have. Some of his behavior after the 2020 election is inexcusable. But there are some things he has never done, and that is to steal from the citizenry or take bribes and payoffs for favors.
The Democrats have gone nuts and lost sleep trying to find just one thing like the shenanigans Joe Biden pulled, along with most of his family, but they came up empty. Trump went to trial on what is probably political posturing but he will weather it.
Make no mistake, readers, the DNC Democrats will sell their soul to stay in power, and take no prisoners.
God save us, the Kamala/Walz ticket won't.
