What do Democrat politicians and fake news journalists have in common? I will speak only for myself, from my own experience, and thus will give my answer to the question from the vantage point of this American citizen rather than the vantage point of Americans in the general sense.
How embarrassed am I?
Unfortunately (tragically? dangerously?) I am not sure that every American is aware of the full extent to which the Biden presidency has done severe and significant damage to the U.S. This erosion of America is both historic and unprecedented.
Having said that, though, I do not stand alone among American citizens in feeling the way I feel, not by any means. There are no adequate words. Nothing I say could accurately or fully convey the level of embarrassment that I and a majority of U.S. citizens now live with because of the Biden administration and its foolishness, its dishonesty, its ignorance. The level of embarrassment is gargantuan, and nearly unfathomably so.
I think that Democrat politicians and today's fake news outlets are like used car salesmen. It is easy to compare them to unscrupulous used car salesmen who deceptively sell vehicles with hidden flaws. Selling a lemon is rhetorically used to express disapproval or skepticism about the promises or policies of democrat politicians. I compare them to unscrupulous used car salesmen who deceptively sell vehicles with hidden flaws. The implied lemon in this context represents the perceived failures or problems associated with the policies or actions of these politicians and mass media. So the whole business of a used car dealership kinda bothers me. Not because of the scummy practices, but because I don't see what economic value they add.
A salesman should inform you of the features a particular car has or why you want it. Yet with used car salesmen this information is inherently untrustworthy and should be ignored.
The Democrat party has a service center, a liberal mass media specializing in cover up.
And just like a used car salesman: Liberal media adds no value either.
The Democrat party is a parking lot for used cars. An expensive parking lot set up in poverty ridden and higher cost living areas. That doesn't make sense. Nor does that vast inventory make sense.
Used car salesmen help set up financing, fill out a form and get the lowest competitive bids. Knowing the financing they help you with is a scam.
Used car salesmen negotiate deals on your behalf. Every negotiation only has two outcomes. Either you get a fair deal or you get screwed. Almost every buyer will get screwed at least a little. Conservatives offer prices that everyone pays the same and is vastly fairer. Everyone thinks they have a fish tail of getting one over on a dealership. However, you can only get one over whenever they have a good sale.
Used car salesmen pretend to help you find what you are looking for. This is inherently untrustworthy -- they will not tell you about a car that the backend part of the deal is unfavorable.
Democrats do not add any value at all; they have become a pure deadweight loss. Democrats openly spend millions of dollars on the staff they hired to harass you, democrats have vast used car lots full of millions of dollars in merchandise, and shiny buildings, and I don't see what they do to justify your confidence.
Public respect for the liberal media and the Democrat party has plunged to a new low. Most American citizens know that news organizations try to cover up their mistakes. That amounts to a stunning vote of no confidence. The new wrinkle is that Democrats are increasingly unhappy with a profession long viewed as liberal.
