BRIDGEPORT -- Davis & Elkins College's Chris Carter has been named Mountain East Conference men's Swimmer of the Week and Jaime Boulier was selected as the league's women's Swimmer of the Week.
Carter, a senior from Clayton, N.C., helped lead the Senators to a dual win against Frostburg State last weekend at Myles Pool. He had individual wins in the 100 breaststroke (1:02.31) and 200 breaststroke (2:26.24), and was third in the 200 individual medley (2:15.25).
He also swam the final leg of the 200 medley relay team that finished second (1:43.05).
Meanwhile, Bouiler is the first D&E women's swimmer to earn a weekly accolade from the MEC. Boulier, senior from Waterbury, Conn., had four victories last weekend as Davis & Elkins swept past Frostburg State and California (Pa.) in the Senator Duals.
