ELKINS -- The Elkins Middle School boys basketball teams swept Belington Wednesday night at EMS gymnasium.
The Hornets (9-3) claimed a 44-36 win in the varsity game as Isaiah Merritt and Nate Hulver scored 13 each.
Adam Bailey had nine and T.D. Bodkins eight for the Hawks.
Elkins Middle took the junior varsity game by a 48-8 score. Dylan Hinzman had 16 and Aiden Lambert eight for the Hornets, who improved to 9-1.
Elkins will travel to Taylor County on Monday.
Belington is scheduled to entertain Green Bank on Friday.
