Huffman, Teter help Harman best Union

The Inter-Mountain file photo Senior Braydan Huffman had 17 points in Harman’s win over Union on Tuesday night.

HARMAN — Braydan Huffman and Coy Teter combined for 33 points to pace Harman to a 73-45 victory over Union Tuesday night in Potomac Valley Conference action.

Huffman finished with 17 and Teter followed with 16 for the Panthers, who took a 32-19 halftime lead and carried a comfortable 57-32 cushion into the final quarter.

Daniel Savage had a game-high 18 points for the Tigers (1-10), hitting five 3-pointers. Kenneth Adams also reached double figures with 18.

Harman (7-5) will host Pocahontas County at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

HARMAN — Bridgette Knapp netted 16 points as Union claimed a 59-29 win over Harman in PVC play on Tuesday evening.

Victoria Seabolt also reached double figures for the Lady Tigers (4-4) with 11.

Emily Marple had 10 points for the Lady Panthers, who trailed 30-13 at halftime.

Harman (3-8) will be back in action 2 p.m. Saturday at home against Clay-Battelle in WVHIT first-round play.
