D&E lacrosse team falls short at UDC

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A furious rally by Davis & Elkins fell just short in a 19-18 setback to District of Columbia Wednesday afternoon in men’s lacrosse play.

The Senator trailed 18-12 after three periods before outscoring UDC, 6-1, in the final frame.

Trevor Kennedy, Matthew Dyck and Nolan Morrison all had four goals apiece for D&E (0-3). Kyle Durec added three and Aidan O’Dwyer and Tyler Kolodka one each.

Turner Allison led UDC (3-3) with four scores.

The Senators will return home at noon on Saturday to face Chestnut Hill.
