PHILIPPI — Alderson Broaddus Director of Athletics Carrie Bodkins has announced Chad Haller as the next Head Coach of the Alderson Broaddus Cheer and Dance program.

“It is my pleasure to announce Chad Haller as the next head coach of our cheer and dance programs,” Bodkins said. “Chad’s experience and enthusiasm make him a great fit for our program. I am looking forward to him building upon the past success of this program.”

Haller is a Philippi native and brings over 20 years of experience in cheerleading as an athlete, instructor, choreographer and coach. Halller also spent five years as a United States All-Star Federation Coach Credentialer in which he evaluated the competency of safety and skill in coaches across the United States.

“I believe that right now everywhere could use a little more cheer. I am very excited to join the Alderson Broaddus family,” Haller said. “Being a Philippi native, this is a great opportunity for me to spread the love of Cheer to my hometown community.”

Haller was an instructor for Cheerleaders of America from 2002-2005 and was the tumbling director with the Fusion 5 All Stars in Fairmont from 2008-2012. Since 2012, Haller has been an instructor at Champs Central in Clarksburg, where he has prepared athletes for post-high school cheerleading and tumbling.

“The students and I are gearing up for an epic Battle Masks and ask everyone to keep cheering on our Battlers!” Haller said.
