BRIDGEPORT -- The Buckhannon-Upshur girls and boys soccer teams both fell in the Class AAA, Region I, Section 2 title games on Wednesday night.
Gabby Reep's hat trick propelled undefeated Bridgeport to a 5-0 win over the Lady Bucs at Wayne Jamison Field.
The Lady Indians (14-0-0) held a 1-0 lead at halftime before erupting for four second half-goals.
B-U ended the campaign with a 10-4-1 mark.
Riley Nett's goal midway through the first half was the difference as homestanding University (8-2-1) claimed a 1-0 over the B-U boys, who finished the season 7-6-1.
Meanwhile, the Philip Barbour girls seek their first-ever trip to the state tournament when they play host to Lewis County at 5 p.m. today at George Byrer Field at BC Bank Park in the Class AA-A, Region II finals.
