FAIRMONT -- The Elkins Middle School varsity boys dropped a 39-37 decision to East Fairmont in triple-overtime on Thursday night.
Lucas D'Angelo had Aiden Lambert led the Hornets (5-3) with nine points each.
Dominic Fantasia had 16 for the hosts.
The teams also played a double-overtime contest earlier this season with East prevailing.
The Hornets (5-2) lost the JV game, 36-33, as Ryan Jones scored 16 and Alex Broschart nine in a losing effort.
River McClain had 14 and Garrett Bosley seven for the winners.

Davis-Thomas downs TV
DAVIS -- The Tygarts Valley Middle School varsity girls dropped a 26-21 decision to Davis-Thomas on Thursday night.
Adley Felton had five points and Summer Lewis-Smith and Kailen Yokum four each for the Lady Bulldogs, who are now 4-6 on the season.
Kelslynn Whitehair had nine and Raven Matthews six to lead the winners.

Pocahontas County 48, East Hardy 11
DUNMORE -- Pocahontas County claimed a 48-11 win over East Hardy on Thursday night.
Tessa Kiner and Makayla Ervine had 11 points each for the Lady Warriors (2-3). Sienna Bircher added 10 rebounds with eight points and Allyson Alderman chipped in seven points, seven assists and six rebounds.
Taylor Strawderman led the Lady Cougars (0-2) with five points and six caroms.
Pocahontas County will host Tucker County at 3 p.m. Saturday.
