Pendleton takes 5-2 victory over Tucker

FRANKLIN — Pendleton County claimed a 5-2 win over Tucker County Saturday in Potomac Valley Conference action.

Five pitchers combined on a no-hitter for the Wildcats, with Cameron Kisamore working 2 1/3 innings of relief to earn the win. He struck out seven and walked one.

Isaiah Johnson had two singles and two RBIs for Pendleton County, while Kisamore had a single and scored a run.

Mason Kisamore took the loss for the Mountain Lions in five innings of work. He allowed just four hits, fanned 10 and walked six.

Pendleton County, which lost a 10-6 decision to Liberty in its opener on Thursday, will visit Pocahontas County at 4:30 p.m. today.

Tucker County (0-1) is scheduled to host Petersburg at 5 p.m. Friday.
