PHILIPPI -- Philip Barbour finds itself in a must-win situation after falling to Herbert Hoover, 13-7, in the completion of the opening game of the Class AA Region II championship series on Tuesday.
The Colts (19-10) now travel to Herbert Hoover at 6 p.m. today, needing a win to extend the series. A deciding game will be held Thursday in Philippi.
When play was halted on Monday night due to the weather, the Huskies led 9-6 with two runners on and no outs in the top of the sixth inning.

The Colts picked up a run in the bottom of the inning when Halfin reached on an error and later scored on Nick Hamrick's single to center.
Ryan Beasley, who started Monday's game, earned the win, allowing six runs on nine hits in 4 2/3 innings. He struck out seven.
Toops worked 2 1/3 innings of relief, giving up one run on three hits.
Cody Cooper went the first five innings on Monday in taking the loss, surrendering 11 runs on nine hits and striking out five.
Wilson went one inning, allowing one run on one hit and walking one, Halfin 2/3 of an inning and Jayden Herron retired the lone batter he faced to end the seventh.
The Colts led 1-0 before Hoover struck for four runs in the third and three more in the fourth to lead 7-1.
Philip Barbour, which out-hit the Huskies, 12-10, answered with RBI singles from Hamrick, Cooper and Wilson in the home-half of the fourth to cut the lead to 7-4.
The Huskies added a single run in the fifth before Jesiah Matlick delivered a two-run homer in the bottom of the inning.
Will Bright led the winners at the plate, cracking a bases-clearing double in the fourth, an RBI double in the third and a run-producing single in the sixth for a five-RBI performance.
Nick Graham added a solo homer in the fifth for the Huskies, who are now 19-12.
Hamrick and Matlick each had three hits in the loss.
The winner of the series advances to the state tournament set for June 24-26 at Appalachian Power Park in Charleston.
