Strong second half lifts PB girls over Hampshire

PHILIPPI — Philip Barbour netted two unanswered goals in the second half to claim a 3-1 win over Hampshire Saturday at George Byrer Field at BC Bank Park.

The Lady Colts have won three straight matches to improve to 3-1-0.

Braylyn Sparks’ goal approximately 8 minutes into the second half gave Philip Barbour the lead for good.

Arrington Sparks added an insurance score with 5:12 remaining.

Graylin Floyd provided assists on both second-half goals.

Braylyn Sparks added a goal in the first half.

Sara Simon had four saves in goal in the win.

PB will host North Marion at 5:30 p.m. today.
