ELKINS -- Elkins sent its senior out with a victory in the home finale against Pendleton County Wednesday night at Richard P. Simmons Memorial Gymnasium.

The six Lady Tiger seniors were honored during the evening and saw plenty of court action in a 3-0 (25-16, 25-20, 26-24) victory.

Elkins improved to 15-6 on the season.

"It was great to see our seniors get a win on their night and the crowd was very good," Lady Tigers coach Penny Crawford said.

In JV action, Elkins claimed a 2-1 win, falling in the first set, 20-25, and rebounding with victories of 25-13 and 25-14.

The EHS junior varsity team is now 12-5.

The Lady Tigers were scheduled to visit Tygarts Valley today but will now venture to East Fairmont for a Big 10 Conference make-up game.
