PARKERSBURG -- Huntington, Herbert Hoover and Cameron will enter the final week of the high school football regular season as the No. 1 teams in their respective classes after Tuesday's release of the SSAC playoff ratings.
The Highlanders (9-0) top the Class AAA ratings, followed by Martinsburg and Bridgeport.
After defeating then-No. 1 Poca last week, Herbert Hoover (9-0) leads the way in double-A. Independence and Poca are second and third, respectively.
Cameron (9-0), Doddridge County and East Hardy comprise the top three in Class A.
Doddridge County visits Tygarts Valley on Friday night.
The final ratings will be announced on Saturday.
