Hudson Clement scored a Super Six all-class record eight touchdowns Saturday afternoon, four rushing and four receiving, to lead Martinsburg to a 62-21 victory against previously unbeaten Huntington in the Class AAA title game at Wheeling Island Stadium.

The previous record in any Super Six championship game was five.

It marked the ninth AAA crown in 12 years for the Bulldogs (13-1), the second seed in this year’s playoffs.

Clement had eight catches for 175 yards and seven rushes for 41 yards and one of his team’s five interceptions on defense. Ezra Bagent completed 12 of 21 passes for 207 yards and five touchdowns and Eric King carried 17 times for 152 yards.

For Huntington (13-1), the top seed, Gavin Lochow carried 20 times for 88 yards and one score and completed 11 of 23 passes for 185 yards and two touchdowns.
