Lady Bucs too much for Elkins

TENNERTON -- Gabby Parke had 18 points to lead Class AAAA, No. 7 Buckhannon-Upshur to a 67-37 win over Elkins Tuesday night in Big 10 Conference play.

Olivia Ellis added 10 and Shelby McDaniels and Kenna Maxwell nine apiece for the Lady Bucs, who led 34-8 at halftime and 52-25 after three quarters of action.

Celia Ricottilli led the Lady Tigers with nine.

Jalen Florence and Niya Nutter added seven points each.

B-U (14-4) visits Grafton on Thursday for another Big 10 Conference contest.

Elkins (5-12) is slated to host Trinity on the same night.

The Lady Tigers remain home at 2 p.m. Saturday to face Robert C. Byrd.
