Lady Vikings notch 61-29 verdict over Moorefield

PETERSBURG -- Class AA, No. 2 Petersburg notched a 61-29 win over Moorefield on Wednesday night.

Braylee Corbin had 16 points and Kennedy Kaposy 14 for the Lady Vikings (13-2), while Mickala Taylor also reached double figures with 11.

Amber Williams netted nine for the Lady Yellow Jackets.

Petersburg entertains Hampshire today.

Moorefield (5-10) is slated to host Charleston Catholic on Friday.
