MOOREFIELD -- Second-seed Petersburg outlasted top-seed Frankfort, 55-48, in double-overtime to capture the Class AA, Region II, Section 1 crown Friday night at Moorefield High School.
The Lady Vikings (19-4) will host Braxton County at 7 p.m. Thursday in a co-regional final, while the Lady Falcons (14-7) will visit Trinity.
Petersburg trailed 41-36 after three quarters after the game was deadlocked at 26-all at halftime.
After a scoreless first OT, the Lady Vikings took the second extra session, 11-4.
Braylee Corbin had 11 points, Kennedy Kaposy scored five of her 10 points in the second OT and Mickala Taylor also netted 10 for Petersburg.
Hailey Smith fired in a game-high 20 points for the Lady Falcons, followed by Arin Lease and Larae Grove with 10 apiece.
