FAIRMONT -- Alyssa Abel had a pair of homers to lead Buckhannon-Upshur to a 19-3 win over East Fairmont in four innings Monday night in Big 10 Conference play.
Abel had two-run homers in each of the third and fourth innings in finishing with four RBIs on the night.
Shelby McDaniels added three RBIs and Brooklyn Robinson, Jansen Kimble and Kailey Hart each drove in a pair.
Kimble, Hart and Taylor Spratt all had doubles in the win.
Robinson scored four times and Abel and Robin Ball touched home three times each.
Kimble worked all four innings to earn the win. She allowed three runs on seven hits and fanned three.
B-U led 4-1 after the first inning and tallied seven runs in the second to open up an 11-1 lead.
The Lady Bees scored twice in the bottom of the second but the Lady Bucs responded with a five-run third to take control.
Carly Ledsome and Victoria Snyder each had two hits for East Fairmont, which was plagued by seven errors in the contest.
Adriana Bond was tagged with the loss on the mound in four innings of work.
B-U improved to 6-4 on the season and is scheduled to visit Grafton today for another Big 10 contest.
