ELKINS -- Kaitlynn Stone and the rest of the Elkins seniors had a senior night to remember on Wednesday.
Stone cracked a walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the seventh inning as the Lady Tigers rallied for a 20-17 win over East Fairmont at Betty Heckel Field on the EMS campus.
The Lady Bees appeared to be in position to be spoilers for the EHS seniors, leading 8-1 after four innings.
However, the Lady Tigers struck for 11 runs in the fifth inning and put up four in each of the sixth and seventh innings.
Elkins led 16-11 before East Fairmont plated six runs in the seventh to take a 17-16 lead.
Stone, one of four seniors honored on the evening, also cracked an RBI double in the sixth.
Her classmates all played a role in the victory as Halle Roy earned the win in the mound and scored a pair of runs, Raven Weirich had two hits an an RBI and Naudia White had a hit and scored three times.
Sara Collins also had four RBIs in the win, including a two-run homer in the fifth.
Gracie Snyder had three hits knocked in five runs and Hayle King had a homer and two RBIs for the Lady Bees.
Both East Fairmont and Elkins will compete in the Big 10 Conference tournament scheduled for Friday and Saturday.
