Mountain Lions remain ninth in SSAC ratings
Bucs fall to 18th in Class AAA; Colts jump to 18th in AA

PARKERSBURG -- After a bye week, Tucker County remained tied for ninth in the WVSSAC playoff ratings released on Tuesday afternoon.
The Mountain Lions (3-0) and James Monroe (3-0) share the ninth position in Class A.
Wheeling Central (4-0) remained first, followed by Tug Valley (4-0) and Williamstown (3-0).
Wahama (4-0) and Van (4-0) are tied for fourth.
Petersburg (4-0) and Greenbrier East (4-0) set in the seventh position, while East Hardy (3-1) is 16th.
The Mountain Lions host Berkeley Springs (0-4) on Friday night.
After a 35-10 win over Liberty last Friday night, Philip Barbour sets just outside of the top 16 in a log jam at 17th in double-A, along with East Fairmont, Lewis County and PikeView.
All four teams have 2-2 records.
Big 10 Conference member North Marion (4-0) is rated first.
Roane County (4-0) and Frankfort (4-0) are tied for second, Independence (4-0) is fourth and Scott (4-0) fifth.
The Colts travel to Elkins (0-3) on Friday evening.
Parkersburg South (4-0), Morgantown (3-0), Spring Valley (3-0), Princeton (3-0) and Martinsburg (3-1) comprise the top five in Class AAA.
Buckhannon-Upshur dropped four spots to 18th after falling at John Marshall, which is tied with the Bucs, Oak Hill, Hampshire and Spring Mills -- all with 2-2 records.
B-U is idle this week and will return to action Sept. 30 at No. 17 University (2-2).
