Warner collects pair of TD passes for Bulldogs

BLACKSVILLE -- Carson Shriver rushed for a pair of scores and threw for two more to lead Class A, No. 15 Clay-Battelle to a 51-14 win over Tygarts Valley on Friday night.
Shriver rushed for 150 yards on the night and was 3 of 5 passing for an additional 47 yards.
Zach Hull added 76 yards rushing as the Cee Bees accumulated over 400 yards of total offense.
Tygarts Valley was led by Wade Warner, who had five catches for 165 yards and two touchdown receptions on the evening.
Derrick Gear added a pair of catches.
Luke Bright completed 7 of 19 passes for 172 yards.
He also led the ground game with 38 yards.
The Bulldogs dropped to 0-5 on the season and will travel to Richwood next Friday for a 7 p.m. contest.
Tygarts Valley's next home game is set for Oct. 6 during Forest Festival week as the Bulldogs entertain Pendleton County for a Thursday night contest.
Clay-Battelle improved to 3-1 on the campaign and will remain home next Friday night to battle Webster County.
