MILL CREEK -- Tygarts Valley will take to the field tonight for a Mountain State Forest Festival Week matchup against Pendleton County.

Game time is set for 7 p.m. at Bulldog Field.

Injuries have plagued Tygarts Valley this season, as the Bulldogs enter the contest with an 0-6 mark.

Senior quarterback Luke Bright and classmate Wade Warner have led coach Rodney Bright's squad on offense, and the pair connected on a 97-yard scoring pass during last Friday's setback at Richwood.

Warner also picked up 56 yards rushing.

Tygarts Valley, which last defeated Pendleton County in 2005, will be idle next week and return to action Oct. 21 against Trinity Christian in the home finale at Bulldog Field.

The Wildcats have won two of their last three games after starting the season 0-2.

Pendleton County is coming off a 32-7 home loss to Class A, No. 4 Tucker County last week.

Quarterback James Vincell, running back Dillon Smith and receiver Clayton Kisamore lead the Wildcat offensive attack.

Smith rumbled for 200 yards during a win over Grafton earlier this season.

Games on tap for Friday night for area squads include Elkins at North Marion, Buckhannon-Upshur at Lewis County, East Fairmont at Philip Barbour and Moorefield at Tucker County.

Starting at /week.
