McGee has helped Bulldogs navigate a tough schedule

MILL CREEK -- Playing a challenging schedule, Tygarts Valley has compiled an 8-4 mark this season.
Half of the Bulldogs' 12 games have been against teams currently ranked in The Associated Press Poll, including Monday night's contest at Class A, No. 7 Clay-Battelle.
Just last week, Tygarts Valley faced three straight teams ranked, including a 69-54 win over No. 9 Doddridge County.
The Bulldogs dropped verdicts to Class AA, No. 4 South Harrison and Class A, No. 6 Pendleton County.
During Friday night's win over Doddridge County, junior forward Ethan McGee fired in 21 points and dished out four assists.
McGee saw varsity time on a senior-laded Bulldog squad last season and is now one of the top scorers for head coach Tom Wamsley, who earned his 400th career coaching victory earlier this season.
Tygarts Valley's remaining games will also be a challenge, as the Bulldogs still have two games remaining against No. 4 Tucker County and road contests against Class AAA, No. 7 Elkins, Pendleton County and South Harrison.
Saturday's game against South Harrison is part of the WVHIT Shootout.
