PETERSBURG -- Braylyn Sparks fired in 24 points to power Class AAA, No. 5 Philip Barbour to a 75-62 win over Petersburg on Friday night.
Mattie Marsh and Carli Cvechko chipped in 15 points each and Averi Carpenter 13 for the Lady Colts, who improved to 11-8.
Braylee Corbin led the Lady Vikings (10-9) with 21 points. Nellie Whetzel contributed 12, Abby Alt 11 and Sam Colaw 10.
Philip Barbour led 35-28 at halftime before outscoring Petersburg, 27-11, in the third quarter to open up a 62-39 advantage.
The Lady Colts will entertain Grafton at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Lady Vikings visit Keyser on Tuesday evening.
