GLENVILLE -- Gilmer County plated seven runs in the fourth inning to claim a 15-5 win over Tygarts Valley in six innings on Monday.
The Bulldogs led 5-2 before the Titans tallied 13 unanswered runs over the final three frames.
Colton Hall had three RBIs in the win, while Caleb Hall and Cole Cogar drove in two runs apiece.
Jacob Wamsley cracked solo homer for the Bulldogs in the third inning.
Kaden Moore had the other hit in the loss and Derrick Gear added an RBI.
Tyler Bush worked 1 1/3 innings of relief to earn the win.
Austin Teter was saddled with the loss.
Tygarts Valley (6-9) travels to Pendleton County at 6 p.m. today.
Lewis 12, PB 9
WESTON -- Zach James drove in five runs as Lewis County outslugged Philip Barbour, 12-9, Monday in Big 10 Conference action.
Trenton Hunt added a three-run homer for the Minutemen, while Ryder Aman drove in a pair.
Albert Gonzales had a grand slam to lead the Colts. Mason Halfin, Tyler Sisson, Brayden Cole and Kale Wolfe added RBIs.
Brayden Carder earned the win for Lewis County, while Nick Gonzales and Miles Hutzler both saw time on the mound for Philip Barbour.
Hutzler went the first 2 2/3 innings.
The Colts (10-9) host Tucker County at 6 p.m. today.
Pendleton 20, Paw Paw 3
FRANKLIN -- Pendleton County improved to 8-3 with a 20-3 win over Paw Paw Monday in PVC action.
The Wildcats also split a pair of games over the weekend in the McDonald's Classic, defeating Liberty and falling to East Fairmont.
Pendleton County remains home today to battle Tygarts Valley.
