Hart, Kimble lead Lady Bucs past EHS

ELKINS -- Kailey Hart homered and drove in four runs and Jansen Kimble didn't allow a hit in four innings to lift Buckhannon-Upshur to a 19-0 win over Elkins Monday evening at Betty Heckel Field.

Hart had a two-run homer in the fourth, while Kimble drove in three runs and Alyssa Abel and Katarah Linger two each.

Taylor Spratt, Kimble, Hart and Reese Curry all finished two hits each for the Lady Bucs (8-5).

Faith Browning drew a walk for the Lady Tigers.

Kimble fanned seven on the night as the game ended after the bottom of the fourth due to the mercy rule.

Elkins is slated to host Petersburg at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
