ELKINS -- Blayne Thompson tossed a five-inning no-hitter as Elkins Middle School blaned Tucker Valley, 16-0, on Wednesday night.
Thompson, who was also 3 for 4 at the plate with an RBI, struck out eight and walked two.
Kaden Marcum had four RBIs for the Hornets, including a two-run double.
Dyer Barger and Dreyton Boggs chipped in two RBIs apiece, Trent Stone an RBI triple and Owen Stanley and Michael Harding one RBI each.
Elkins led 4-0 before scoring 10 runs in the second inning and two in the third.
Braden Cooper, Barger, Stone, Boggs and Marcum had two hits each.
The Hornets (6-4-1) will visit Pendleton County at 6 p.m. today.
