FRANKLIN — Clayton Kisamore had a pair of RBIs and earned the win on the mound to lead Pendleton County to a 14-2 win over Tygarts Valley in five innings on Tuesday.

Cashton Kisamore had a two-run single as part of a four-run first inning for the Wildcats, who also received an RBI single from Jayden Roberson in the first.

Roberson was 3 for 3 on the night.

James Vincell added a pair of RBIs for Pendleton County, plating a run with a single in the second and lofting a sacrifice fly in the third.

Dustin Vandevander added two RBIs for the Wildcats and Chase Owens two hits.

Jacob Wamsley was 3 for 3 with a solo homer for the Bulldogs. Seth Currence added an RBI single.

Clayton Kisamore went all five innings, allowing seven hits, striking out six and walking two.

Kendall Armstrong was saddled with the loss, giving up five runs on seven hits an fanning two in going the first two frames.

Ian Harris finished in relief. He gave up nine runs on five hits and struck out three.

Tygarts Valley (6-10) returns home at 6 p.m. today to battle Trinity Christian.

Pendleton County (9-3) is also in action at 6 p.m. today as it entertains Bath County (Va.).
