PARSONS -- Tucker County took advantage of seven Pendleton County errors en route to a 14-6 win in the first game of scheduled doubleheader on Wednesday.
The second game of the twin bill was in a weather delay in the third inning as of press time.
Addie Hicks and Brianna Gooden each knocked in two runs in the Game 1 victory. Katie Hicks, Rachel Felton, Paige Shaffer, Autumn Russell and Kate Simmons added RBIs.
Ashton Hess had two doubles and three RBIs for the Lady Wildcats.
Ava Shaffer worked all five innings to earn the win, allowing eight hits and fanning six.
Tucker County (5-1) will return to action Friday at Liberty High School, facing Oak Glen at 4 p.m. and Musselman at 6 p.m.

CLARKSBURG -- Kylie Swiger hit a two-run walkoff single in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift Liberty to an 11-10 win over Philip Barbour Wednesday in Big 10 Conference action.
The Lady Colts (5-3) had taken a 10-9 lead in the top of the inning when Katelyn Cooper singled in Preslee Fincham.
Destiny Coble singled and Kadence Crock drew a walk to start the bottom of the seventh inning. A fielder's choice and groundout followed before Swiger delivered the game-winning single to center.
Cooper finished with three hits and drove in three runs in the loss, while Makayla Gonzales had an RBI double and two-run single, Payton Holbert went 3 for 4 with an RBI, Bella Bibey laced a two-run single and Avery McDaniel had an RBI single
Charlee Johnson added a two-run homer for the Lady Mountaineers.
McDaniel took the loss in 2 2/3 innings of relief.
Coble went the distance to earn the win.
Philip Barbour visits Preston at 5:30 p.m. today.
