WESTON -- The Elkins Middle School boys dropped a 1-0 verdict to the Robert L. Bland Patriots on Monday evening.
"It was a hard-fought game," said Hornets coach Ariel Davis' "I am very proud of these boys, they played with great effort."
Elkins will entertain Bridgeport at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Tiger Stadium.
The Hornets will visit East Fairmont on Friday for a junior varsity contest.
