MILL CREEK -- Tygarts Valley used a strong third quarter en route to a 69-45 win over Union Tuesday evening at Weber-Wamsley Court.
The Bulldogs (4-6) led 31-25 at halftime but outscored the Tigers, 15-5, in the third frame.
"Our defense in the third quarter was the difference," TV coach Tom Wamsley said.
Ethan McGee had 12 points, Jacob Wamsley 11 and Malachi Somers 10 for the Bulldogs, who remain home Friday night to face Clay-Battelle for a Mason-Dixon Conference contest.
Braylon Ward fired in 22 points and Eric Linkswiler added 13 for the Tigers.
