DUNMORE -- Pocahontas County dropped a 75-51 decision to Class A, No. 5 James Monroe on Thursday night.
Mary Beth Meadows fired in 22 points, dished out 10 assists and collected seven steals, and Maggie Boroski netted 20 points for the Lady Mavericks, who led 33-19 at halftime before outscoring the Lady Warriors, 24-17, in the third quarter.
Kynlee Wilfong had 12 points for Pocahontas County, which is now 3-5 and visits Summers County at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
