MILL CREEK -- Kaleb Kuhn fired in 28 points as Class AA, No. 7 Petersburg pulled away for a 72-59 win over Tygarts Valley Saturday at Weber-Wamsley Court.
The Bulldogs trailed 31-30 at halftime and 53-48 after three quarters.
"The kids played hard," TV coach Tom Wamsley said.
"We just ran out of gas in the fourth quarter."
Kaden Moore led the Bulldogs with 13 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and three steals.
Jacob Wamsley chipped in 12 points.
Peyton Tingler added 16 points and Caden Ours 12 for the Vikings, who improved to 10-3 and will entertain Keyser on Tuesday.
Tygarts Valley (3-5) is also on action Tuesday as it hosts Union.
