FRANKLIN -- Pendleton County placed four players in double figures to pull away in the fourth quarter for a 78-60 win over sectional foe Tygarts Valley on Friday night.
Josiah Kimble fired in 20 points, to lead the Wildcats, who led 20-13 after one quarter and carried a 41-32 advantage into the intermission.
The Bulldogs cut the deficit to 56-49 after three quarters before being outscored 22-11 in the final frame.
Dusty Smith added 17 points, Chase Owens chipped in 15 and Cashton Kisamore 11 for Pendleton County, which improved to 6-4.
Malachi Somers led Tygarts Valley with 12 points, followed by Ethan McGee with 11 and Kaden Moore 10.
The Bulldogs return home at 3:30 p.m. today to battle Petersburg.
The Wildcats (6-4) host Class A, No. 1 Tucker County on Tuesday evening.
