FRANKLIN --Pendleton County limited Class AA, No. 9 Petersburg to just 14 points in the second half en route to a 60-41 win on Tuesday night.
The Wildcats (10-9) led 30-27 at halftime and outscored the Vikings, 19-10, in the third and by an 11-4 count in the fourth.
Chase Owens tossed in 21 points and Josiah Kimble 19 for Pendleton County.
Caden Ours had 14 and Kaleb Kuhn 11 for Petersburg.
The Wildcats host Moorefield this evening.
The Vikings (14-5) also hit the court tonight at Berkeley Springs.
