FRANKLIN -- J.W. Teets fired in 28 points to send East Hardy to the state tournament in a 65-39 win over Pendleton County Tuesday night in Class A, Region II co-final action.
The Cougars (19-3) will be the third seed in Charleston and face No. 6 Cameron (20-5) at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in quarterfinal action.
Nate Smith added 11 points for East Hardy, which led 28-21 at halftime before opening up a 46-32 lead after three quarters.
Chase Owens had 14 points for the Wildcats, who ended the season 13-12.
