Philip Barbour falls to Polar Bears, 10-1

FAIRMONT -- Brody Whitehair had three RBIs to power Fairmont Senior to a 10-1 win over Philip Barbour Thursday night in Big 10 Conference play.

Logan Canfield added two RBIs for the Polar Bears, who broke open a 1-1 tie by scoring four runs in the fifth and five more in the sixth.

Kale Wolfe, Grant Harris, Tyler Sisson and Kent Rowan had singles for the Colts, while Landyn Carpenter drew a bases-loaded walk in the third.

Sammy Viani went the first three innings to earn the win. Brayden Gorby finished in relief, fanning six.

Harris took the loss in relief.
