PHILIPPI -- Robert C. Byrd scored four runs over the final three innings to claim an 8-4 win over sectional and Big 10 foe Philip Barbour on Tuesday night.
The contest was knotted a 4-4 before the Flying Eagles scored twice in the fifth and tacked on runs in each of the sixth and seventh innings.
Ashton Shaffer had an RBI double and J.D. Ford a run-producing single in the fifth for RCB.
Landon Frazier's RBI sacrifice fly in the sixth and Lowther's run-scoring single in the seventh accounted for the other runs.
The Colts trailed 4-1 before tying the game in the fourth on Slaton Harris' RBI single, an RBI sacrifice fly from Kale Wolfe and Nick Gonzales' run-producing triple.
Harris finished with two RBIs and two safeties on the night, while Tyler Sisson added a pair of hits.
Philip Barbour (4-7) remains home at 5:30 p.m. today to face North Marion.
