PETERSBURG -- Nate Ricottilli and Ethan Rosenau had three RBIs each as fifth-seed Tucker County knocked off fourth-seed Petersburg, 9-4, Tuesday night in Class A, Region II, Section 2 action.
The Mountain Lions now travel to top-seed East Hardy today.
Ricottilli had three hits in the game, while Maddox Anderson and Rosenau two each.
Rosenau, Justin Robeson and Ricottilli all saw time on the mound.
Robeson went four innings of relief, allowing one run on five hits and fanning three.
Rosenau worked one inning, striking out all three batters he faced.
Tucker County scored three runs in the first, one in the third and erupted for five in the sixth.
The Mountain Lions had 10 hits in the contest, and each team had three errors.
Caden Arbough had two hits for the Vikings, who fall into the loser's bracket of the tournament.
Kaleb Kuhn, Jackson Berg and Owen Reel had RBIs in the loss for Petersburg.
Kuhn went the first 5 1/3 innings on the mound in taking the loss. He allowed eight runs on seven hits and struck out six.
Lukas Wolford finished in relief, fanning three.

FRANKLIN -- Third-seed Pendleton County began Class A, Region II, Section 2 play with a 13-5 win over No. 6 Paw Paw on Tuesday.
Cashton Kisamore drove in four runs for the Wildcats, including a two-run homer.
Allden Rexrode, Cameron Beachler, Kisamore, Cole Harper, Cayden Boone and Will Smith all saw time on the mound for Pendleton County, which visits No. 2 Moorefield today.
